When Shadowrun re-starts, would you all like to play in the 2050 setting or the 2069 setting? In all cases, people can keep playing their current characters (with tweaks for equipment and back story where needed) or make a new one with current character levels of Karma. Basically, here are the major differences. Old Shadowrun: Minimal wireless, 99% of all hacking has to be done via wires, smartlinks can only be used via a gun in hand/wired glove. HVARs do not yet exist. (Sorry Marc). Bug City, the Election of Dunklezahn, and the arrival of Ghost Walker have not happened yet. New Shadowrun: Less work, and the Teague situation is still in play, with lots of fun vengeance to resolve.
